The Robin Hood
This project comprises a bespoke four-bedroom new build set within a sensitive rural landscape on the edge of Timbersbrook, with long views towards The Cloud and the wider Cheshire countryside.
The house has been carefully designed to respond to its setting, combining contemporary architecture with a strong connection to the surrounding landscape.
A clear, legible plan centres around a generous open-plan kitchen and dining space, with floor-to-ceiling glazing opening directly onto the gardens and framing key views beyond. More private spaces, including a study and bedrooms, are arranged to provide flexibility and privacy while maintaining a strong relationship with the landscape.
Sustainability formed a core part of the design approach, with the incorporation of an air source heat pump and underfloor heating throughout to support energy-efficient, future-focused living.
Externally, the building’s scale, proportions and materials were carefully considered to sit comfortably within its rural context, forming part of a small, high-quality development of three individually designed homes.
