Framed In Black

This project introduced a contemporary rear extension to create a bright, open-plan living space with a stronger connection to the garden.

 

Large areas of glazing, rooflights and carefully positioned doors bring natural light deep into the home, creating a more open and sociable layout for everyday family life.

Externally, the black timber cladding gives the extension a bold, modern identity while contrasting beautifully with the existing brick property.

 

The surrounding decking helps the new space flow naturally into the garden, creating a practical and stylish indoor-outdoor living area.
